ABOUT

About Us

An independent site for people who drive, fix and travel in Toyotas.

OUR STORY

From a field blog to an owner’s site

01

The expeditions, 2009 to 2013

This domain began as the blog of the Toyota Enviro Outreach, conservation expeditions in South Africa. The posts told the trips as they happened.

02

The years after

Later the site carried general Toyota articles. We are rewriting them with sources in our own voice, and anything that does not fit has been retired.

03

Today

An independent site for Toyota owners: trip stories, maintenance guides and sourced explainers, plus clearly labelled guest posts.

OUR RULES FOR TOYOTA CONTENT

What you can expect from us

HOW WE WRITE

About Toyota, never as Toyota

WHAT WE NEVER DO

Speak for Toyota

EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Four promises

The same rules apply to our own posts and to every guest post.

1

Sources beside the claim

Anything we say about Toyota, its models or its programmes links to a public source.

2

No official Toyota assets

No Toyota logo, emblem, wordmark or official photos on this site.

3

Guest posts are labelled and edited

Each one carries a “Guest post” label and an author box, and is edited for accuracy first.

4

Mistakes get fixed

If you spot an error, tell us through the Contact page and include a source if you can.
